Inside the mempool
How much of the waiting mempool gets mined? What arrives for the first time in a block? Follow the outcomes of transactions our nodes have admitted.
Share of transactions waiting just before block receipt that appear in that block.
Not observed in this mempool during its recorded history. Excludes coinbase; requires 24 hours of continuous capture.
Confirmed expiry or conflict invalidation among admitted transactions. Pending and unknown outcomes stay in the denominator.
From first admission
Each transaction is counted once. Startup inventory is excluded because its first-admission time is unknown.
Daily inclusion and visibility
Green: pre-block inclusion · Blue: unseen share of block transactions. Blank bars mean unavailable evidence, not zero. Weighted by transaction counts.
Block by block
The newest six blocks are provisional and excluded from headline block statistics. An observer’s cutoff is its first qualified full-block receipt in the capture epoch.
Miner / pool attribution uses curated coinbase tags or known payout scripts. Tags are miner-supplied claims, not authenticated identities. Shielded or unmatched payouts remain unknown.
What happened to admitted transactions?
UTC admission cohorts. Evicted and unknown removals are still followed. The 24-hour view uses only transactions with complete follow-up.
Across observers
Transactions unseen by every covered observer, using each observer’s own block-receipt cutoff. A block is included only when every configured observer has qualified coverage.
Methodology and limits
There is no single global mempool. These measurements describe named nodes, their peers, their capture history and their chain view. A transaction seen in an earlier mempool but absent just before a block is still “previously seen.”
Memory eviction and unexplained disappearance do not prove invalidity. Expiry, conflicting spends and dependent invalidation need explicit node evidence. Reorganizations can reverse chain-dependent outcomes; six successor blocks are a stability delay, not a finality guarantee.
Capture gaps, resets, clock anomalies and inventory drift exclude affected measurements. The first-seen metric excludes incomplete follow-up. Reports expose aggregates and public block hashes, not individual mempool transaction timings.
